    I guess this is along the same lines that dogs only see in black and white. It could be possible that birds see in black and white too and therefore seeing blue means seeing black.

    Birds see color very well. Better than us. They can also detect ultraviolet and near ultraviolet color and light. I’m not positive on whether or not bluebirds can see blue, but I am certain that most birds see color much more extensively than ourselves.

    Of course Birds can see colour. They use bright colours to attract mates.

    I can’t see the color blue out of my left eye. But it’s perfectly normal in my right eye.
