    That is actually not true at all. Nowhere in your link does it mention anything about large peices of whole meat like steak being pieced together from smaller steaks. The binding agent referenced in the article could be used to bind hamburgurs, but if it was attempted to be used to create a large steak from a small steak it would be obvious and you would immediately notice.
