During the recording of Iron Maiden’s “Number of the Beast”, unexplained phenomena occurred. This all climaxed when the producer, Martin Birch, was involved in a car accident with a mini-bus transporting a group of nuns, after which he was presented with a repair bill for £666.
In 1897, a newlywed woman was found dead in her home. Although her death was attributed to natural causes, her mother’s insistence that she had been visited by the woman’s ghost compelled authorities to reopen the case, at which time an autopsy revealed the woman had suffered a broken neck. Under the guise of emotional grief, the husband kept people away from the body of his “beloved” wife, tied a scarf around her neck claiming it to be “her favorite”, and went to other lengths to veil the fact that her neck was broken.
Musician Jim Sullivan recorded an album in 1969 called U.F.O. with cryptic lyrics about desert highways and strange lights. 6 years later he disappeared without a trace, his car abandoned on the desert road.

In 1968, a car driven by bank employees was pulled over by a motorcycle cop claiming the car had been rigged with a bomb. The cop got under the car to “defuse” the device. When the car started to smoke, everybody ran. Then the “cop” just drove the car away. The 300M Yen robbery remains unsolved.
