A 22 year old was shot 6 times in the back in Sept. for carrying a fake katana (in an open carry state). Police claimed that he lunged at them which was later heavily disputed by video evidence, however they got off with no charges. No riots ensued and so it did not make national news.
In 2010 in Pennsylvania man was charged with breaking a trooper’s fist with his face.
In 1964, riots broke out in North Philadelphia over a false rumor that police beat a pregnant black woman to death. Over 200 businesses were looted or destroyed. Most of those businesses never returned, which lead to much of North Philadelphia turning into the crime-ridden slum we see today.
In 2008 a small town mayor was mistakenly raided by a swat team. He was held at gun point and claims his dogs we’re killed for sport, one while it was running away.
In 2005 an innocent man was pinned to the ground by British police and shot 7 times in the head point blank thinking he was a suicide bomber and later tried to cover it up.
Jose Guerena was murdered by police in Tucson in 2011. He grabbed his gun when masked armed men kicked open his front door and was shot 72 times in front of his wife and child. Then they sent a robot in to prod his lifeless body in front of his 4 year boy. He never fired a shot and the gun was still on safety. This was a search warrant.
Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old boy, was shot and killed by a Dallas police officer who tried using Russian roulette to make him confess to stealing $8 from a vending machine. The officer served only 2.5 years.
During a “Botched Drug Raid” using a No-Knock Warrant 39 shots were fired at an elderly woman after she fired one shot over the heads of the plain clothed men entering her home. Those same officers later planted coke and marijuana at her home in a failed attempt at framing her.
When the Polk County, FL sheriff was asked why a suspect was shot 68 times, he replied “That’s all the bullets we had“.
