The Mars One project is seeking to colonize Mars by 2023. The astronaut/colonists will spend the rest of their lives on the red planet.
Space travel gives astronauts a feeling of being completely engulfed by a profound sense of universal connectedness. When astronauts return from space they are usually ~ 2 inches taller. This is due to the low gravity in space that allows for the vertebrae in the spine to spread apart.
